Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimenez; 2 September 1966)[3][4][5[5]] is a Mexican and American actress and film producer. In Mexico she began her career with the role of Teresa in the Telenovela (1989-1991) and also as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) where she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just among her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002), which she also wrote, made her the first Mexican actress to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress[6] and additionally earned her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. The following years, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
