The Joint Leadership of the United States Congress, and the Congressional Award Board of Directors are the ones to award the Horizon Award special recognition. The Horizon Award is presented to people in the private sector who have helped in expanding opportunities for all Americans through their own personal efforts, and who have set an example for the next generation of young people with their achievements in life. Tom was a wonderful partner and friend. He was a fan of playing in an experienced and skilled team, and would practice hard whenever his Magnum schedule would allow ..... He was kind and patient. He enjoyed playing with us. ".
