Alex Flanagan
She attended at the University of Arizona and Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Arizona. Flanagan is an anchor/reporter on NFL Network and NBC Sports as well as a sideline reporter for Football Night in America and the home games for Notre Dame football. Flanagan is heard and seen on television during Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games. She co-hosts a weekly in-game recap show along with Fran Charles. Alex was raised in Sonoita Arizona. She's got a husband, former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple have two daughters as well as a son. Alex's father runs two Arizona steakhouses: The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan started her career with KVOA-TV as a student and anchoring news. In 1998, she began covering sports. She's worked for NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN as well as Fox Sports. She was also a Gamma Phi Beta member. After her graduation Flanagan was offered her first job on TV as an assignment-based news anchor and reporter at the weekend on KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota. This role was held for two years by WSFA-TV Montgomery in Alabama.
