Bellamy Young
Young's acting career began in theatre. The actress made her Broadway debut in 1997 with Mary as the lead actress of The Life. The show was performed Off Broadway for Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we to Roll along (1994) and in Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995, with an appearance on the show as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. She appeared in the show Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two characters. She debuted in film in 1999. Her debut film was a minor role in Black and White. In the subsequent years she appeared in numerous independent films. From the mid-2000s onwards, she began appearing in guest-starring in a variety of television dramas and comedies, like The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 between 2000 and the year 2011, Young appeared in over 30 TV programs. In 2003, Young became part of The USA Network show Peacemakers. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the show ended up being cancelled. Her character was featured in the Lifetime series For the People, a law-based drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC historical drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. She also appeared on NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004, as Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and in the ABC premiertime soap drama Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) as Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. In 2011, she had a guest role as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
