Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. The most recognizable role she has played is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award winning coverage of the presidential election 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the United States and debates by the supercommittee. Her general assignment work has included stories about the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. Then she became a CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. As a CNN Newsource correspondent, she was a reporter for breaking news as well as produced feature stories to over 800 CNN Newsource members.
