Lis Wiehl was born August 19, 1962 and was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She was previously an Assistant Professor of Law at The University of Washington Law School. She also has provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual, and National Public Radio. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning show, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl graduated from West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She has a degree in law from Barnard College (1983), the Master of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was previously the US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She was a tenured professor in law at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
